Lakeside is a small community of coach-home condominiums in the middle of Bonita Bay. It sits at the start of Bayhead Drive, just off Bonita Bay Boulevard, on the shore of a large lake shared with The Sanctuary. Not to be confused with Lakeside Hideaway elsewhere in Bonita Springs, this Lakeside is inside Bonita Bay's gates.

On the Lake

The lake is the reason for the name. It stretches west from Lakeside toward The Sanctuary. Many lanais look straight down its length to the west. Lakeside is not on a golf course. The Bay Island Course is just beyond Greenbriar to the north.

A coach home lives much like a single-family home on one level. Each residence has its own two-car garage.

In the Middle of Bonita Bay

From the main gate on US 41, Lakeside is about a mile straight down Bonita Bay Boulevard. Greenbriar and Whiskey Pointe share Bayhead Drive. Sandpiper and Harbor Lakes are just across the boulevard. The marina and Backwater Jack's are a short drive west.

Trails and the Beach

The Green Loop Trail follows Bonita Bay Boulevard past the entrance to Bayhead Drive. Our guide to Bonita Bay's walking trails covers every route.
