Firano is what I consider a boutique community. It is intimate and very tropical, with a mix of pine trees throughout. One of my team members lives here. She is a huge fan of Toll Brothers construction, which is why she sold her home in another nearby community and bought new construction in Firano. I have visited her many times and even gave her advice on planting native plants to attract butterflies.

The location is really convenient. The Whole Foods is around the corner. You also have fast access to I-75. Heading east on I-75, Alligator Alley takes you across the state to the other coast. That is a plus for anyone who works in Miami or frequently flies out of the East Coast international airports.

If I lived in Firano, I would be most excited about easy access to Marco Island and Everglades City. Both make great daycations. Drive to the island, have lunch and come back, with lots of blue water along the way. Everglades City is a fishing town that feels like an escape, a mini vacay.
