WildBlue is one of those neighborhoods that stands out to me for its beautiful expanses of water, wide-open lake views and a sense of space that can be hard to find in Southwest Florida.

One of my favorite things about WildBlue is the way the neighborhood is laid out. Rather than a grid of streets that feel divided into little squares, the roads meander and bend around the lakes, creating a more natural flow through the community. Beautiful homes line both sides of the streets, with an openness that gives the neighborhood room to breathe.

Having worked with clients who have bought or sold real estate in WildBlue, I've had the opportunity to spend time in the community and really take in its natural beauty. Between the preserves, the lakes and the generous spacing of the homes, there's a feeling of openness that's genuinely appealing.

To the delight of buyers, we had an otter cross the street when we were out looking at homes. At an open house, we kept seeing birds with a peculiar shape. They were Common Nighthawks, with a white stripe across their crescent-shaped wings. When I looked into it later, I learned there must have been a good food source over the lake that day. Everyone at the open house was standing on the pool deck watching them perform acrobatics over the lake.
