Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve East

Take The Kids to Caloosahatchee Creeks East 53/365

We all know that we could use a little more exercise, especially kids.  There are so many places you can take the kids in Southwest Florida to blow off steam.  Even if you or your child doesn’t like outdoorsy things to do you can easily find a level, safe walking boardwalk in several locations.  Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve East is great for all ages and levels of mobility.

Located off of Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers, the preserve is located in some of the prettiest “old Florida” you can see. It’s worth it just to drive down Bayshore Road.  Head east along the river and see the old grown oak trees, farms and agriculture.

There are other attractions in the area such as the Lee Civic Center and ECHO Global Farm. Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve is not very far from Bonita Springs so it is a great place take a lunch trip to.  Just grab your favorite Publix sub and head north on I-75.
