SW Florida Real Estate Market Report
Coming off the heals of Florida’s tourist season wrapping up combined with the government tax incentive for home buyers there was a flurry of last minute April and May sales. We’ll enjoy more closed real estate sales for the next few months as those transactions wrap up.
The graph above signifies all real estate sales in the Sunshine MLS for the Month of May 2010. Sales occurred in both Lee and Collier Counties, primarily in the cities of Bonita Springs, Naples, Fort Myers and Estero.
For many months the $200,000 and under sector has been our leader and this month it accounted for 52% of the sales, followed by the $200,000- $400,000 price range.
