Fishing Charter In Bonita Springs, Florida 35/365
If you are looking for fun things to do in Southwest Florida consider a fishing charter! To date, we have gone out on three separate charters. Two were private charters, and one was a group charter out of Fort Myers Beach. I recently purchase my husband and son a fishing charter experience for my son’s birthday and Father’s Day.
We have been back bay fishing and shark fishing out in the Gulf. The two private charters had similar rules like bring food, (the captain has a cooler), don’t forget to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen and above all … have fun.
Our kids love to be on the water and my husband and son love to fish but the girls, not so much. Sometimes I go to take photos but I am typically working while the boys are fishing.
My son really enjoys talking to the local captains about their experiences on the water. He loves fishing so much and a local guide is the way to go so you see the most wildlife and also catch the most fish. We’ve seen all sorts of fish and animals including manatees, dolphins and even sea turtles.
There are many fishing guides in the Bonita Springs area. If you are looking for a current list of guides join the Bonita Springs Estero Community Forum and ask for they type of guide you need whether it’s back bay on the intracoastal waterway or deep water fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
