The Residences

Palermo residences offer about 2,900 to 3,300 square feet, with private elevator foyers and two parking spaces per residence. Two penthouse levels hold residences of nearly 6,000 square feet. Views change with floor and direction. To the west they take in the golf course, the mangrove estuary and Estero Bay, with the Gulf of Mexico from higher floors. To the east they catch the sunrise and the city lights.

Over the years, I have shown condos in Palermo to buyers. Palermo sits closest to La Scala and is the second closest high-rise to the bay. You may notice a theme of Italian names. The views are beautiful: the golf course, the mangrove estuary, Estero Bay and, on higher floors, the blue water of the Gulf of Mexico. To the east there are often twinkling city lights and the sunrise.

Between buildings like La Scala, Navona and Florencia, the floor plans vary and are wildly different. Palermo also has fewer residences than many of its neighbors: 71, compared with 100 in Navona and 116 in Florencia. Even though these buildings are fairly recent, many residences have been renovated a time or two, sometimes including floor plan changes.
