Frank Theatres at The Prado | Bonita Springs, Florida

Cinegrille Frank Theater Bonita Springs

Movie Cinema in Bonita Springs| Frank Theater

If you’ve lived in Bonita Springs, Floridafor several years you will have know theFrank Theatrelocation as the former Regal Cinema location and a couple of other short lived theaters that were only opened for brief periods … beforeFrank Theatresmoved into the space, renovated it and created a dining location on site, within the theater.

I’m not big on theaters mostly because I’m one of those folks who is always on the go but I am also a “sit still fall asleep” person.  I made a deal with Al Gorithm to go see Skyfall the new Bond film a few weeks ago and we decided to try theFrank Theatrein Bonita Springs for the first time.

Our initial plan was to stop in at Thai Star for dinner on the way but it was cutting it way too close to show time so we skipped that and decided to try dinner at the Frank Theatrein addition to the movie.

Video of Frank Theatres Restaurant, Arcade, Concession and More …

To say the theater was a surprise would be an under statement. I’ve been to it under previous ownership and they’ve managed to not only change the venue and make it seem fresh and clean but the Frank Theatre Cinegrille Restaurant was a real surprise.

We each ordered a sandwich and beverage – chicken panini, tomato basil panini, ice tea and a club soda.  Service was fast, the sandwiches were tasty (they came with fries) and it was affordable.  We slipped in right under twenty bucks for two.  Plus, while we were cutting it close to show time we could have, at any time, taken our order and drink to go to eat inside of the theater.  Simply put, it was the best meal I’ve ever had in a theater considering that most theaters sell only super processed, greasy foods.

In addition, the traditional popcorn, candy and theater snacks are available at concession.

The tables next to us were hosting a birthday party. Kids came in and were ushered to the arcade for a few games before they had lunch and caught their movie. Seemed like a good idea for a party for tweens.

Best of all, the matinee was only six dollars per person (at the time we went) so we had a great lunch and saw a great movie all in one spot.  TheFrank Theatrehad big comfy, leatherette chairs with a little recliner action to them.  They also offer the D-box for more realistic movie watching with bumps, vibrations and motion sort of like them park attraction events for specific films.
